Hey There! I am Miss Londot and I am so excited to welcome you into the 5th grade! We will be spending this year really getting to know one another and building our classroom community. Since most of you may know each other I wanted to share a few fun facts about me to help you to understand me a little better as I hope to do with you.

1. I am originally from Arizona! But I have also lived in two other states, Oregon and North Dakota
2. I have a Golden Retriever named Camden and he is the biggest goof!
3. I love to travel, if it's across the world or down the street I am always up for an adventure!
4. I am the BIGGEST sucker for Reese’s Sticks 
5. When I am not teaching, I am a photographer!


 


Hi, I'm Miss Londot

Growing up, I went to many different elementary schools and I never once felt like any of my teachers took the time to get to know me or guide me in the way I needed. This is why I became a teacher, to show you that there is a teacher that cares and a teacher that will give you the necessary tools you’ll need to thrive, not only in school, but in life.

I believe teachers are a lot like photographers, they control the lens that helps focus an image into a clear picture while providing the tools that are necessary to create the image for their students’ understanding. Teachers and students share this space of learning to educate each other rather than the idea that ‘teacher knows all’. We are in this space together to create and explore our deeper knowledge of understanding.
